G.C. Paul Memorial Academy is the sister concern of G.C. Paul College of Education. Established on 14-November’2012 in memory of late Gouranga Chandra Paul, father of Dr Krishna Ranjan Paul, former Principal of Ramkrishna Nagar College, the academy seeks to cater to the holistic development of a child and sets high goals to attain excellence in qualitative education. The day also coincides with the birth date of Jawaharlal Nehru who considered children as little adults in the making.

To reflect upon the realization of the dream of setting up a school in rural vicinity, it needs to be recorded that late G.C. Paul, throughout his life, struggled relentlessly for the education of his sons and daughters. This institution therefore idealizes the hopes, dreams and aspirations of the local people who have always dreamt for the best for their wards and children. It has been hoped that the institution will meet the needs and requirements of the people of this marginalized area, at village Dharanala, P.O. Kalinagar T.E. under Ramkrishna Nagar Development Block & Revenue Circle.

We, the members of G.C. Paul College of Education are committed to carry forward the torch of learning to these remote areas and spread the light of knowledge amongst the people, far away from the bustle of city life. We believe in the saying that 'the real India lives in the villages'. Besides, as per the needs of the hour with globalization and qualitative excellence in education, we have aspired to start an institution in a budding place like Dharanala, Ramkrishna Nagar where quality schools are hard to find. We are determined to create an environment, loved by the children and congenial for their overall growth. The parents and guardians can rest assured that their children have found a place where their child/ward can develop and grow to the needs of the society and the world outside. We hope, we shall be able to fulfill the aspiration of the parents.

G.C. Paul Memorial Academy aims not only at the academic result of its students, but also to their overall development and prepare them all to face the future challenges that they are intended to face in today's competitive world-both academically and otherwise.

The parents & guardians can therefore draw consolation from the fact that the school will assume the full responsibility of the children and take time-to-time appropriate measures in consultation with the parents & guardians. This will relieve them of the extra tensions about the progression of their children.

  The parents & guardians will be happy to know the fact that we have the aim to train the teachers of the school to expose them to different facets of the teaching arena. All necessary plannings have been made to provide the teachers with all latest updates in education system to equip them adequately. As long as renowned educationist Dr.K.R.Paul is the ‘torch bearer’ and path finder of this institution we are confident that G.C. Paul Memorial Academy will scale the heights of excellence and glory.
